Benijófar
When we set out to find the best locations for our properties, we have always strived to attain those that offer the optimum balance between service and value for money. We would all love to have a sea-view villa, but not all budgets can make that million-euro purchase. That is why we chose Benijófar.
Benijófar is located just 8 km from the white sandy beaches of Guardamar, which are over 15 km long and bathed by the crystal-clear, warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Guardamar, much like Benijófar, is unique in itself as it is one of the few coastal towns with a protected sand dune system, unique to the Costa Blanca.
But Benijófar is not only close to the beaches of the Costa Blanca; it is also located between many much larger towns, so it is an economic hub for the surrounding region while also being close to areas with a much broader commercial offer, such as Orihuela Costa, which is only a 15-minute drive away, or Torrevieja, 10 minutes away by car. Torrevieja can also offer the services and amenities of a large city, as it has 2 hospitals, several marinas, and a large shopping centre with a Carrefour hypermarket as you access the city from Benijófar.
As the access from Benijófar to the A-7 motorway is little more than 5 minutes away from the town centre, travelling abroad is made easier, as this allows you to be just 20–25 minutes from Alicante and Murcia airports. Or, if you are travelling within Spain, it is around 30 minutes to Alicante train station, where the high-speed AVE train makes several stops a day to and from Madrid.
El Campello
El Campello is one of those charming seafront locations that offers all that a large town could, but without losing its neighbourly appeal. El Campello is located just a few kilometres from Alicante’s bustling city centre and is well connected with both the city itself as well as the main airport, just a 20-minute drive away along the nearby A-7 motorway.
Although, possibly the most convenient (and cheapest) form of transportation to Alicante’s city centre is by the tram line that sits just 200 m from the Villas of L’Amerador. Nothing could be more practical.
And of course there are the beaches of El Campello. The closest to the properties is that of L’Amerador, with a very low density of sun worshippers during the high season, but with crystal-clear blue waters and easy access and parking, although it is just a five-minute walk from the properties. Other beaches, such as Muchavista—probably the most well known—are just a five-minute tram ride away from the L’Amerador villas, more or less the same as the town centre of El Campello, with several large supermarket chains such as Lidl and Mercadona, and a myriad of bars and restaurants along its spectacular seafront.
